SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

DIOCESAN SOFTWARE

Raymond Hemingray has been developing database software since 1989. His
first venture was a collaboration with Tom Blower (a former Registrar of the
Diocese of Portsmouth) in the design of a Diocesan Registry Database. They
also jointly developed a database for Diocesan Advisory Committees. In 2001,
Tom redesigned the two databases using Microsoft Access.

The
DIOCESAN REGISTRY DATABASE maintains records and prints
documentation relating to the following:
Archdeaconries, Deaneries, Benefices, Parishes
Clergy, Lay Officers, Parish Personnel (Addresses and Appointments)
Faculty Jurisdiction
Patronage
Marriage Licences

The
DAC DATABASE includes:
Records of all matters referred to the Diocesan Advisory Committee
Faculty Register
Printing of documentation relating to the Faculty procedure
Preparation and printing of DAC agendas and minutes
Report production

The installation in the Salisbury Diocese also covers general Diocesan Office
work and the creation of the Diocesan Directory, as well as the work of the
Diocesan Registrar and the DAC.

For a demonstration and/or details of pricing, please contact Tom Blower by
email at tomblower@tiscali.co.uk

CORONERS' SOFTWARE

Between 1990 and 2000, Ray installed his Coroners Records Database
software in over 70 Coroners’ jurisdictions throughout England and Wales,
and undertook training and support. In 2000 he transferred his Coroners
Records Database business to Mountain Software, a leading supplier of
software to the legal profession, which is now part of the IRIS group of
companies.

The
CORONERS RECORDS DATABASE software includes the following
functions:
